Vintage Belarus Army cap cockade featuring the historic coat of arms used by Belarus in the early 1990s.
This aluminium cockade with red enamel shield shows the mounted knight emblem that was briefly used as the national symbol of Belarus after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
This type of cockade was used on Belarus Armed Forces peaked caps around 1992 during the early post-Soviet period.
Size approx. 4 × 4 cm
Weight approx. 6 g
Lightweight aluminium construction with red enamel centre and wreath design.
The reverse has the original horizontal wire prongs used to attach the badge to a cap.
The original wire prongs on the reverse are thin and fragile. They can break if bent back and forth repeatedly. When attaching the badge to a cap it is recommended to make small holes in the fabric first rather than forcing the prongs through the material.
A collectible item for collectors of Belarus militaria post-Soviet military insignia and vintage army badges.
