Original Soviet military officer / sergeant field bag (map case / document satchel), used for carrying maps and documents.
Produced in the 1950s, these bags were part of standard military equipment.
Made from durable tarpaulin (kirza-type) with leather sides and trim, metal fittings, and an adjustable canvas shoulder strap.
Good vintage condition with authentic signs of age such as scuffs, wear, patina, and possible light rust on metal parts. Some bags may have original stamps inside.
